Main objective:
Lead a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold SDI Element Logic’s business initiatives. Ensure projects assigned are completed in a timely fashion and within budget, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. Project tracking and reporting for all assigned projects within SDI Element Logic.

Role and Responsibilities:
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish a detailed project schedule using MS Project
Follow up with all team members as required, including Engineers, IT, Suppliers, In-house Manufacturing, Field installation, Field wiring, and Commissioning.
Ensure all materials are being ordered and track shipments; including MHE, 3rd party Suppliers, In-house Mfg. and IT peripherals (controls devices, panels, scanners, printers).
Provide client updates on schedule milestones, progress against schedule, immediate tasks, open issues, and potential changes to scope.
Issue formal weekly or bi-weekly Project Updates using standard SDI Element Logic template.
Keep schedule and schedule milestones updated as the project unfolds. Ensure key dates are identified for project needs, (i.e., MHE deliveries, install crew, wiring, panels, spares).
Communicate internally with all who support the project to ensure that all project gates/milestone needs are being addressed.
Track expenditures against budget categories, to improve EBITDA and provide monthly updated ETC (estimate to complete) to Finance.
Visit client site as appropriate, assess progress towards agreed-upon Go Live date. Ensure that project is ultimately closed out, with documented client sign-off.
Support the commissioning, testing and training leading up to Go Live.
Provide support as needed post Go-Live and ensure smooth transition to Support (Customer Success).

Requirements:
Years of relevant experience: 4 years in managing Material Handling projects (conveyors, sorters, etc.)
Willing to travel between 30% - 50% of the time within the USA. (subject to the project).
Experience spending time on-site is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in Engineering, Project Management, or associated discipline.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Project. Ability to work with AutoCAD is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:
Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Standing or sitting for extended periods is common.? Hearing and vision within normal ranges are important for conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect building plans, blueprints, and drawings.
Tolerance to perform the job in high temperature i.e., second floor mezzanine in an un-air-condition warehouse.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Eye and Face Protection, Respirator)
