Starting in 2021, ARKA Smart Parcel Lockers' R&D Department has worked on developing the energy-autonomous locker, which has now reached its 7th iteration. This cutting-edge energy-autonomous locker incorporates the peripherals of the classic locker, introducing an innovation that changes the operational mode in the last-mile industry. It offers a more intuitive and user-friendly experience, facilitated by security and other very useful features for smart lockers that do not require an electrical connection.

Using the battery, solar charging capability, and state-of-the-art energy management, this innovative locker is capable of supporting advanced optional peripherals such as an LED touchscreen display, QR scanner, PIN pad, CCTV, alarm system, video surveillance, POS system, LED light system, or 4G mobile router, even though it is energy autonomous (not connected to electricity).
ARKA's R&D department has developed a technology that does not rely solely on solar rays; the radiations that occur when it is cloudy are powerful enough to sustain the locker's power consumption, thanks to highly advanced energy management.

This innovation will assist Courier and Postal Companies in developing the most advanced parcel locker networks, offering an elevated user experience, a live ecosystem, and enhanced security using robust lockers that can be easily deployed and relocated at any time, based on advanced analytics and reporting, resulting in a 600% increase in efficiency.
