Most recently, DICK’s Sporting Goods expanded its distribution facility in Conklin, NY. With the expansion, the facility not only services 160 retail stores but also offers same-day shipping of many products for direct-to-consumer order fulfillment. To achieve true omni-channel status, the Conklin, NY, distribution center leverages a goods-to-person system, warehouse execution software and unique inbound and outbound processes to efficiently handle inventory.
