Rad Power Bikes Unveils RadBurro Electric Cargo Trike at MODEX Booth #C1729

SEATTLE - March 21, 2018 - The RadBurro, a highly-maneuverable electric cargo trike designed to tackle last-mile and urban delivery challenges, will make its national debut at MODEX in Atlanta from April 9-12. Rad Power Bikes, the leader in electric bike technology and alternative transportation, invites attendees to visit booth #C1729 to learn how the RadBurro was purpose-built to address many of the logistics industry’s most pressing issues, including sustainability and efficiency.

With 750W of clean electric power, 700 pound payload capacity, and proprietary modular attachments, including Flatbed, Truck Bed, Cargo Box, and Pedicab options, the RadBurro provides businesses with a flexible alternative to conventional fulfillment methods. When compared to traditional cargo vehicles, electric trikes are inexpensive to own and operate, and are vastly more efficient, nimble, and green.

RadBurro specifications include:
  • 700 lb. payload capacity
  • 40 to 80 mile range on a single charge
  • 750-watt brushless electric motor powered by a 48V 52.5Ah battery
  • 5 levels of pedal assist, twist grip throttle, and reverse
  • 20 MPH top speed
  • 20-inch step-through steel frame and 17-inch front and rear wheels
  • Adaptable to a wide range of commercial uses, and can be configured with proprietary Flatbed, Truck Bed, Cargo Box, and Pedicab modular attachments
  • Available in orange; custom colors are also available on qualifying fleet purchases
“With zero fuel cost and zero emissions, low overhead, a small carbon footprint, excellent maneuverability, and access to bike paths and bike lanes, the RadBurro is arguably the most affordable and practical delivery vehicle alternative for its intended geographies,” said Brian Rinckenberger, Commercial Division Director at Rad Power Bikes. “We are offering our customers tremendous savings on the total cost of ownership for their delivery fleets, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and helping customers achieve the targets of their sustainability initiatives.”
